NIAMH CULLEN SAID her husband Jamie Gill was the “light of my life”, as she announced his death on social media.
Just weeks ago, she shared that Jamie (33) had been diagnosed with cancer last year.
Today she shared an old video of them dancing, which she says shows the “unconditional love, fun and laughter” they had.
“The unimaginable has happened. Our worst nightmare,” she wrote in the caption.
“My beautiful husband has been taken from us. The light of my life.
“I was the luckiest to be loved and adored by you Jamie. I love you endlessly, not just now, but eternally.”
Cullen (32) said she is “broken” after the loss of her husband of just one year. They got married in Italy November 2024.
Around that time, Jamie became unwell and was hospitalised for 10 days during the couple’s “mini-moon” in Rome, Cullen shared in a post to Instagram two weeks ago.
She said a cancerous tumour was discovered, which Jamie had to undergo 10 rounds of chemotherapy to treat.
Cullen described her husband as a “fighter”. “He never ceases to amaze me with his incredible positive outlook and mindset, even in the darkest moments.”
There has been an outpouring of love in response to the announcement of his untimely passing.
Cullens friends and followers have expressed their condolences online.
