1. Four people have been killed and 10 wounded in a shooting at a family gathering in California on Saturday night, US police said, calling it a “targeted incident.”

2. The first suspected bluetongue virus outbreak in Northern Ireland is under investigation.

3. Two people have died after a coach and a car were involved in a serious road traffic collision in Co Fermanagh.
Herzog Park
4. A motion to rename Dublin’s Herzog Park because it is named after an Irish-born, former president of Israel has been slammed by Israeli president Isaac Herzog, the son of Chaim Herzog, who the park was named after.
Gaza deaths
5. Family members said two Palestinian boys were killed in an Israeli drone strike in Gaza today, with Israel’s military saying it had identified two suspects “posing an immediate threat”.
American Embassy
6. Consultants for the United States Embassy in Ireland have cited security risks behind the need for 40 additional car spaces for US Government cars and embassy staff cars at the nearby former Jury’s hotel site to serve the embassy in Ballsbridge in Dublin 4.
