Dublin Bus driver brought to hospital after crash with fire engine

A BUS DRIVER has been taken to hospital after a crash between a Dublin Bus and a Dublin Fire Brigade engine.

The crash occurred this afternoon on Lower Mount Street shortly after 2pm, gardaí said.

A spokesperson said no serious injuries were reported.

The bus was not carrying any passengers at the time of the incident. Both vehicles suffered serious damage.

Gardaí remain at the scene, where the fire engine is currently being removed. Traffic is being diverted.

Both Dublin Fire Brigade and Dublin Bus have been contacted for comment.
